Thanks again, if you have any other link that might be helpful, I'd be very thankful too. I'll do the following: I'll run the game we created on Raspbian, with the switches generating keyboard inputs and we'll use another sd card so that one will have the emulators and the one we have right now, will work solely for the purpose of running our game on Raspbian. Our hardware is something kind of original, but We're using as base the Arcade Table and a Mini Arcade Cabinet, though we'll turn them into a console by separating the controls and the screen. I'm gonna search about the first option, my group'll probably get together to finish all saturday. Well, yes, I am using the normal switches, and connecting to the GPIO. You are not the first one with similar ideas:įirst of all, thank you so much, for the help. There are a bunch of different hardware: What about programming GPIO support directly into your game ? When putting together our emulation box in 2016, we tried to stick as close to the 60 asking price of the NES Classic. Topguy wrote:What kind of "arcade controls" ? My answers is going to assume generalt buttons and switches connected to the GPIO on RPi. Supply chain woes lead to a temporary Raspberry Pi 4 price hike.
